New SSD Task Concrete Plastic Hinge.
Generate concentrated plasticity material models for pushover analysis easily. This task is designed to be adopted in a downstream pushover analysis to assess the deformation and energy dissipation characteristics of the structure in case of a seismic attack.
Based on the input of few engineering parameters and driven by an automated analysis of cross sectional deformation and capacity characteristics, a consistent material model for a concentrated plastic hinge is generated and stored for further use.
The concentrated plastic hinge material model renders the essential nonlinear cross sectional mechanical characteristics in a very efficient manner. In particular, these are:
New FEA backbone for nonlinear static analysis with adaptive path-tracing control (FEABENCH).
Calculate the ultimate capacity of structures with concentrated plasticity (cf. new SSD Task Concrete Plastic Hinge) for arbitrary load patterns; trace the equilibrium path robustly beyond peak load carrying capacity.

Improved guidance and control:
Increased transparency and result assessment possibilities:
Extended functionality:
Storey drifts are now consequently evaluated per storey as the difference of lateral displacements between vertically aligned points at top and bottom of a storey (vertical alignment is performed at the position of the center of mass). Vertical alignment assures consistent results also in case of significant geometry changes of adjacent storeys (which may imply a corresponding offset of the respective centers of mass).
With the new major release 2023, a new Excel interface enables you to read data from or write data to an Excel file, thereby facilitating the Open-BIM workflow.
Create, delete and adjust Custom Reports by combining flexibly single task reports together.
The dialogue “Insert New Task” supports multiselecting, allowing to add several tasks at once to the project’s navigation.
APPLY can be executed manually via context menu.
APPLY can be executed after SYS input. In previous versions it was not possible and a PROG was required between.
In previous versions in most cases it was required to open a PLB file to handle error messages and their positions. With the new major release 2023, error messages are listed in the "Error List" dialog, for better handling and user experience. By clicking on the item in the "Error List", the program will try to open the position where the input error occurred.

New values are available:
The interpretation of numerical filter values has been changed. Up to version 2022, filter values must exactly match the internal database values including all decimal places (also not displayed ones). For Example: Filter 1.5 has not matched displayed data with 1.5 when the internal database value was 1.47. Starting with version 2023, the settings for decimal places will be considered for interpretation and therefore a filter value 1.5 will now match all lines with a displayed value of 1.5.

Units and its precisions may be changed layer wise. These changes are saved in the GRA file via record UNIT. (198437,174726)
Revision of the handling of decimal places: - New default: The number of decimal places depends on the setting of the SOFiSTiK units ('SCHH ND NDIM'). - If the decimal places depend on the size of the value ('SCHH ND NMAX') more decimal places are printed. This can be controlled with 'INTE SET 9'. - The decimal places of all values in the legend and the list are now consistently based on, which is specified in the result settings ('SCHH ND'). - For the decimal places of the colour scale, the unit of the value can be used.
